Of course, this show will be about the SONG! 13 year-old Jack Morrow will open the show (he's great!). I will host. Special Note: Songwriter Sessions began 7 years ago co-opted by Common Chord and my company Hey Dave Music. Held in Common Chord's Redstone Room this unique listening room show focuses on the SONG, and the stories behind them. 3 songwriters sit WITH the audience telling stories and singing the songs created by them. The barrier between stage and seating comes down....and the audience becomes the fourth member of the show! The experience is nothing less than MAGIC! Here's the most important thing: ATTENDANCE! We only do 2-3 of this kind of show each year. Hey Dave Music is the sole sponsor for these shows. We hire and pay the performers. We're asking for your participation: If we don't get around 50 or more people to attend (or at least purchase a ticket even if you cannot attend) there won't be a "next" show. When we started this series, there was nothing like it in the QC area. It's proven to be an event that uniquely connects the community through SONG!
