This series focuses on what makes the entire music industry go 'round: the song! I've been bringing songwriter troubadours from Nashville or the US Blues/Americana/Folk circuit into the QC, teaming them up with a local songwriter or two, and presenting unique listening-room experiences since March of 2019. The shows are patterned after the Bluebird Cafe/Nashville where I have been hosting like-minded shows for 15+ years. These songs tell stories, oftentimes, YOUR story....and they're guaranteed to make you laugh or cry or something in between. Oftentimes, when songs are written in certain ways, they can heal; they can change hearts; they can change minds; they can change the world. This show will feature Wisconsin troubadour uber-star, Katie Dahl. She's a stellar songwriter and on a roll recently as she's been in demand on the national and International Folk Alliance circuit, having garnered several public showcases at the regional and international conferences.
