Originally scheduled for March 2020, then July 2020, then April 2021, then November 2021 (all because of the other C word) and now....finally.... November 4, 2022. But this time...it's gonna happen! This series did its inaugural launch in March 2019 with "A Candlelight Evening of Songs & Stories" in-the-row performance at RME's Redstone Room. David hosted and it featured 2 of his Nashville based friends: Alicia Michilli & Shannon LaBrie. A stage will be set up in the audience creating an intimate atmosphere conducive to a "Listening Room" experience: no barriers between performers and audience! The performers will take turns performing original songs and telling the stories behind them. This format is unique to the QC and is patterned after the prestigious songwriter club in Nashville: The Bluebird Cafe. The series is intended to focus on the art and craft of songwriting and will feature local talent as well as professionals on tour. For this show, David and Alicia Michilli will return & QC based artist-extraordinaire, Angela Meyer, will join them. Tix are $15 in advance, $18 day of. Doors open at 7p & the show starts at 8p. 563-326-1333 or rivermusicexperience.org for more info.
