Some fire destroys. Some fire sustains. Some fire inspires. There has been a fire burning in North Central Iowa that has both sustained and inspired many a spirit for the past 30 years: both music performers and listeners. That fire is Byron Stuart, owner of the LIVE music space-oasis known as Byron's Bar. This fire of inspiration is in danger of going out, due to the age and deterioration of the building that houses Byron's Bar and his world famous LIVE music listening room experience.

A group has formed called FRIENDS OF BYRON. They are organizing fundraiser efforts to help save Byron's. This show represents the essence of what Byron's Sunday Songwriter Performances have been all about. Everyone in the line-up has had the privilege of performing at Byron's. If you've never been, you will get a 3 hour dose of what it feels like. Some people call it magic!
