This unique Songwriter Sessions series will feature Iowa Folk legend, Dave Moore. In addition to his considerable songwriting skills, Dave is a mean guitar and harp player, and well-versed on Conjunta button accordion. He performed many times on Prairie Home Companion during its 4 decade run. One of his albums "Breaking Down To 3" was the subject of an interview-feature on NPR's All Things Considered. Dave's songs will break your heart, and put it back together again.

Also on the bill is the internationally acclaimed Catfish Keith. Catfish is a writer in the Blues tradition, and a resonator specialist who has toured the globe for decades, won or been nominated for numerous Blues awards and honors, and appeared on stage with greats like John Lee Hooker, Ray Charles, and Robert Cray, Taj Mahal & Koko Taylor to name a few. Catfish was inducted into the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame in 2008. Catfish and his songs are authentic and stay true to the Blues tradition.

David G Smith will host this intimate In-The-Round show where all 3 performers sit in with the audience and take turns performing their respective original songs. The show is patterned after a similar format found at the world famous Bluebird Cafe in Nashville where David also hosts shows.

Doors will open at 7p with the show starting at 8p. Please check the Common Chord QC website for ticket info.
